Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Learning Management System effectively to ensure all courses are uploaded timely and the training enrollment activities of employees are managed in an efficient manner.
  • Support the smooth delivery of development programmes at Sunway Education Group (SEG) by sourcing, promoting, administering and evaluating training programmes and other development initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in skills.
  • Coordinate all training-related invoices and payments efficiently and effectively.
  • Co-create new employees’ onboarding experience with superior to ensure positive onboarding and cultural assimilation experience for them. This includes managing the Staff e-Orientation Programme; designing and organizing engagement activities; facilitating core training sessions for them; and maintaining the new employee’s hub.
  • Design and implement learning initiatives and challenges for employees to promote active learning and maximum usage of the e-learning platforms in order to maximize the value of the platforms amongst SEG employees.
  • Facilitate and deliver mandatory compliance training; training HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Assist in conducting effective training needs analysis on a yearly and ongoing basis to determine the organization’s development needs.
  • Maintain accurate training records and databases to produce relevant training reports as and when required.
  • Support in facilitating culture excellence workshops and designing activities and other related initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Degree/ Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or other related discipline.
  • One to two years of experience in learning and development (L&D). Fresh graduate with strong interest to learn will be considered too.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and well organized. Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to design posters with PowerPoint or Canva; or to deliver short briefing or training sessions will be an added advantage.
