Manager - Consumer Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with internal Consumer Banking Product / Segment stakeholders to strategize, develop and execute marketing communication campaigns
  • To drive business KPIs, aligning it to overarching CIMB Bank objectives, business strategies and CIMB Group Brand corporate identity
  • Project management: from understanding the marketing brief to conceptualising marketing ideas, to material revisions, to campaign operations / fulfilment.
  • Stakeholder management – Build and nurture relationship with stakeholders to get buy-in on campaign concepts, and also to deliver effective campaigns on time and within budget
  • Agencies management- manage the agencies work quality and turnaround time to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on brief
  • Facilitate clear marketing communication briefs and ensure deliverables are met
  • Monitor and improve project performances. Draw out key learnings for application to immediate initiatives thereafter with periodic sharing of results with stakeholders
  • Event management : manage coordination of prior, during and post events. Working with all stakeholders and working committee to ensure the success of the events.
  • Keep abreast of marketing outlooks and trends, with a focus on developments in digital marketing innovations
  • A strong aptitude towards self-motivation, team leadership and cheerleading is required to excel in this role.

Requirements:

  • A multi-tasker with high energy and resilient to drive a team from point of ideation to final execution
  • Possess ability to present ideas well and lobby proposals to management and stakeholders
  • Has ability to conceptualise effective marketing strategies that is differentiated to make an impact to the right target audience i.e. right use of integrated and targeted media mix and communication messaging
  • Flair for writing and creative eye with good spoken and written English and able to converse in BM. Chinese is a plus.
  • Clear understanding of marketing technology and its robust movements is a must
  • Financial industry background is a plus
  • Experienced in the field of product marketing and consumer communication with a sense of business acumen, min. of 5 years in related field.
  • Agency experience a plus.
