Teachers Job Description
- To provide planned teaching to students, monitor performances on a daily basis and provide corrective and descriptive feedback throughout the learning process.
- To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of individual students.
- To demonstrate written evidence of preparation for classes, both long and short-range plan.
- To be familiar and cognizant of the IGCSE Syllabus/ Finland Curriculum and national curriculum.
- To assess the student's achievement level.
- To correct and mark work in a timely manner, and provide descriptive written and verbal feedback to assist the student in learning.
- To vary teaching techniques and resources/materials to suit learning styles, motivation levels, needs and capabilities of the students.
- To develop and implement a classroom management scheme which emphasise a tidy and orderly classroom - learning environment.
- To test and evaluate student's abilities, records grades, check and register attendance, send Performance Report to parents.
- To maintain control in classroom and apply disciplinary measure in accordance with administrative policies and regulations.
- To supervise student out of the classroom and be responsible for maintaining that area as assigned by administration.
- To help in upholding and enforcing school rule and administrative regulations inside and outside the classroom.
- To keep accurate and complete written records for all parent's meeting, student meeting, and behaviour discipline incidents.
- To demonstrate skill in the subject are taught.
- To maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
- To attend and participate in all staff meeting.
- To accept responsibility for extra-curricular activities.

Requirements

- Preferably Senior Executive specialised in Education or equivalent.
