Role Summary

In-charge of the operations of the multiplex which may include managing, planning, control, staff recruitment and on-boarding, training and development. The incumbent is responsible for meeting all of the cinema Standard Operations Procedures and TGV Performance Standard to ensure that the quality of service, presentation and functionality of the cinemas are of the prescribed excellent standards.

Job Responsibility

Stock & Cash Management

  • To ensure proper cash handling at the cinema floor
  • Kiosk cash handling and basic troubleshooting
  • To maintain effective stock control and prepare monthly and weekly reports according to datelines.
  • To check and maintain product qualities.

Customer Service/Administration

  • To ensure the performance standards and sales target achieved.
  • Maintain overall cinema administration such as cinema floor checks, cinema maintenance and location security.
  • To plan and implement location promotion and execution of company's promotion.
  • Customer oriented and able to provide feedback immediately.

Staff Management

  • Ensure there is adequate staffing to run the operation smoothly
  • Recruit and provide staff training for Customer Relations Officer.
  • To supervise and manage the company Learning Management System (LMS)

Training & Development

  • To develop potential candidate for next line of succession:

  • Full-timer to Buddy Trainer
  • Buddy Trainer to Supervisor
  • Supervisor to Assistant Manager

Technical and Content

  • Receiving and checking the DCP and KDM
  • Ingesting the DCP into the projector in the right order making sure that the film runs smoothly through the projector
  • Ensuring good picture and sound quality
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge to minimize breakdown and show cancellations
  • Being responsible for heating, lighting, ventilation and alarm systems in the cinema

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or tertiary education in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or any suitable field.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with diverse group of people all levels of organization.
  • Customer oriented and able to handle complaints with ease.
  • Good team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Understanding of Profit & Loss report will have an added advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Willingness and ability to work in shifts, midnights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Dependability - being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  • Attention to Detail - being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
