Job Description:- A Business Development Manager (Specialize to Travel Agency - Based in KL) is a dynamic professional who plays a crucial role in the growth and success of a company. This role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the travel industry, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing relationships with OTAs and travel agencies. The ideal candidate will have experience in travel industry sales, a strong network of industry contacts, and a strategic approach to business development. Your primary responsibility is to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives. You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and nurturing existing accounts e.g. KLOOK, KKDay, Tripcarte, etc to achieve revenue targets and growth. It's a home-based position. Able to work independently. Set up an appointment to meet the travel agencies, schools, corporate companies, event organizers (potential clients) around KL and Selangor. Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key OTA platforms and travel agencies. To identify and secure new business collaborations with potential clients. To represent the company brands at any show-round, meeting or event working as an ambassador for the Crocodile Adventureland Langkawi, reflecting the company values Develop and maintain a customer database, sales & promotional materials Provide up-to-date details on special promotions, new and existing packages. Have key contacts and knowledge at online travel agencies, or OTAs. Identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, email blast on our promotion and packages. Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. Meeting and maintaining well-coordinated internal relationships with key decision makers. Responsible to finalize key sales contract. Set and achieve sales goals and objectives, often within a specified timeframe. To identify new business opportunities and execute sales action plan. Requirements:- Have experience in Sales & Marketing, in Tourism Industries is an advantage. Experience with specific OTA platforms (e.g., KLOOK, KKDay, Tripcarte,Expedia, Booking.com, Airbnb) and travel agency systems. Strong understanding of travel industry dynamics, including OTA platforms and travel agency operations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Excellent phone and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good negotiation, with a focus on strategic decision-making and problem-solving. Hardworking, discipline and good working attitude Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
