Manager, Customer Account Operations

Job Description:
* Being and manages team leads of Control tower, Documentation, Booking and Procurement.
* Work hand in hand with Head on drafting strategies, process improvement across all team, implement and monitor for effectiveness of the new processes till stabilize and staff familiar with KPI requirements.
* Being 2nd point of contact after Head of Department for escalation matters from customers and/or internal escalation matters
* Oversee Procurement activities local regional and international region and intervene if needed.
* Oversee Billing / Finance escalations and intervene if needed.
* As a team lead, will be responsible to overview and highlights any process gaps from operational and/or others matter to head of department.
* Proactive in monitoring escalation matters so that customer informed on progress.
* Keep good networking and relationship with carriers, barge operators and vendors.

Addition as being the team lead, your responsibility involves:
* Conducting performance review and managing productivity of individual performance.
* Coordination with the Head of Department on pressing issues/escalation within the team (i.e team lead concern on subordinate performance, discipline issues or process issues that need intervention)
* Keep good upward management and subordinates.

The Job Requirement:
* Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management and/or any relevant field.
* Minimum 7 years working experience in the freight forwarding industry and must have minimum 3 years managerial experience.
* Excellent in analytical using Excel to massage large pool of data (min. expectation knowing how to use formula e.g. VLookup, Pivot and etc.)
* Excellent in interpersonal skills especially with external stakeholder (e.g. liner/carrier)
* If candidate have experience in using CargoWise system, this is an added advantage.
* If candidate is multilingual (e.g. English, Mandarin, Malay) would be added advantage as this role will require frequent engagement with different region stakeholder.
* This position is based at Subang Jaya, USJ 25.
