  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MPU Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and the ability to engage students in various general studies subjects that contribute to holistic education. This position involves delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and developing course materials for MPU subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials on MPU subjects, such as Ethics, Citizenship, Communication, and others, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty to design, review, and update course syllabi to ensure relevance and alignment with educational standards.
  • Assessment: Develop and administer assessments, assignments, and projects, providing timely feedback to students to support their learning and development.
  • Student Engagement: Encourage student participation through active learning strategies and mentorship, addressing diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
  • Research and Development: Participate in research initiatives related to MPU subjects and contribute to the development of educational resources and materials.
  • Advising: Provide academic advising and support to students in navigating their MPU courses and general academic pathways.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the university to promote interdisciplinary learning and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master’s degree or higher in Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field. Relevant teaching certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience in higher education, particularly in general studies or MPU subjects, is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian education policies and MPU curriculum requirements.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students. Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching platforms is preferred.
  • Research Ability: Demonstrated interest in research and scholarship in areas related to general studies or education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
