Job Purpose

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all procurement activities within the company, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all invoices, quotations, and purchase orders through the OA system. The role requires the development and implementation of procurement strategies, management of supplier relationships, and leadership of the procurement team to achieve cost-efficiency and high-quality results. The Procurement Manager ensures that procurement processes run smoothly, aligning with the company’s policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and manage procurement KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • To oversee and continuously monitor OA system workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and reliable service.
  • Regularly review existing supplier contracts and identify new potential suppliers to diversify procurement options and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that suppliers meet company standards for quality, delivery time, after-sales support, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and assess potential risks in supplier contracts, implementing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all procurement transactions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team, ensuring that team members are trained on OA system processes, procurement procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop team goals and KPIs that align with company objectives and monitor performance to ensure the procurement team meets its targets.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that all invoices are submitted accurately and on time, aligning procurement and financial reporting.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader goals.
  • Continuously seek to improve the Group Procurement function, driving innovation and process optimization in procurement activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,219.55 - RM11,947.27 per month
