Job Description:

To recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes or materials
To investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such incidents might be prevented in the future
To inspect or evaluate compliance with safety standards and government regulations
To collaborate with engineers or physicians to institute control or remedial measures for hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions or equipments
To develop or maintain hygiene programs such as noise surveys, continous atmosphere monitoring, ventilation surveys or asbestos management plans
To conduct safety training or education programs and demonstrate the use of safety equipment
To provide new employees health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations
To investigate health-related complaints and inspect facilities to ensure that they comply with public health legislation and regulations

Job Requirements:

Possess Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
Possess at least 3 years of working experience in the related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be registered Safety Officer with Green Book certification from DOSH

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
