Our client is an established logistics company who provides airfreight, ocean freight and contract logistics solutions across more than 130 locations globally.

The Sales Support Manager will collaborate with sales and operations to drive business growth. Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer by managing day-to-day sales inquiries. Ensure that customer feedback is addressed and coordinate with Sales and Operations to deliver services to customers.

The role

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with all customers.
  • Develop and implement procedures to the sales support team for efficiency and effectiveness improvement of operations.
  • Monitor programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and accurate order status updates and changes to the Operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales personnel in handling sales quotations, SOPs, RFQs and enquiries.
  • Liaise and coordinate with global offices/agents regarding sales-related inquiries and shipment monitoring in accordance with SOP account.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports for internal and external customers in accordance to requested format.
  • Review, update and maintain SOP, quotations and RFQ results for assigned accounts in server/Systems.
  • Handle customer issues or disputes as and when necessary.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

The requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge in logistics, air freight and ocean freight operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
