Job Title: Customer Success Specialist (CSS)
Location: Penang
Employment Type: 12 month contract (renewal contract)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Success Specialist (CSS). In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers using our client's online shopping platform, responding to their queries and managing their concerns through inbound phone calls and emails. Your ability to represent the brand in a professional, empathetic, and positive manner is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support through inbound calls and emails.
  • Assist customers in placing online orders, resolving inquiries, and managing concerns with a professional attitude.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of customer payment and personal information during transactions.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues through appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the customer support experience.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, attend training sessions, and contribute suggestions to enhance service quality.
  • Meet all performance metrics set by the company and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • Language Proficiency: Must have B2 level English & Mandarin proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer support (fresh graduates with relevant degrees are welcome to apply).
  • Preferred Experience: Call center experience is advantageous but not required.

Skills Required:

  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering results and solutions.
  • Active listening skills with the ability to manage customer expectations professionally.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent reasoning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office; typing speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, accept feedback, and continuously strive for improvement.
