We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable) Executive/Senior Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the receivables ledger, verifying and reconciling payments, generating invoices, and closing the accounts receivable cycle efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills to resolve disputes and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

About your role

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Process financial transactions related to accounts receivable, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and up to date.
  • Collection & Payment Verification: Capture collections and verify them against bank statements, ensuring receipts are correctly matched and recorded.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Maintain accurate billing records and generate invoices as required.
  • Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly posted and accounted for.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders, resolving any disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Month-End Closing: Oversee the month-end closing of accounts receivable, ensuring all tasks are completed within the required timeline.
  • Journal Entries & Adjustments: Prepare journal entries for accounts receivables and adjust banking transactions when necessary.
  • Data Integrity & Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and data integrity of all financial transactions processed daily.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in OTC – collection, billing, bank reconciliation, accounts receivables month end closing.
  • Experience in Shared Services Centre is a MUST.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be proactive, accuracy, attentive to details, organized and independent.
  • Able to provide guidance, support, and motivation to a team.
    Positive work attitudes and willingness to learn.
