Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in both Modern and General Trade channels.

Channel Management:

  • Oversee and manage the performance of key accounts in Modern Trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, etc.) and General Trade (wholesalers, traditional retail stores).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, category managers, and distributors.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising across all sales channels.
  • Monitor and optimize pricing, promotions, and discounts in line with company policy and market demand.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide continuous feedback and development opportunities.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage and distribution management by the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with key clients.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

Sales Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance on a regular basis, providing reports to senior management.
  • Monitor sales KPIs such as revenue growth, market share, and distribution coverage.
  • Forecast sales trends and provide input for demand planning and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a focus on Modern and General Trade.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
