Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in construction site management or project management.
- To provide a list of previous projects involved.
- Very familiar with paperwork (e.g. preparing site reports, work program, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read plans, and specifications.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
- Develop project schedules and allocate resources accordingly.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Provide guidance and direction to construction workers, subcontractors, and other team members.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
- Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Provide leadership and support to construction teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
