  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Ensure that all products comply with Malaysian food safety regulations (e.g., Halal certification, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Act 1983).
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions in cases of quality deviations or non-conformities.
  • Assist in the investigation of customer complaints regarding product quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and production efficiency.
  • Ensure all QC equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Language required: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in quality control.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FSSC 22000.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring product safety and quality.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in using QC tools and software.
  • Experience working with Halal-certified products.
  • Familiarity with automated quality control systems.
