· Propose CVs of crews of all ranks to the Crewing Manager.
· Monitor existing crews “days on board” on the “Marine Crew Change Matrix” and propose their replacement.
· Support the crewing operations in performing the schedules and planning of crew changes and follow up with relevant parties.
· Maintain adequate back-to-back crew complement and ensuring the timely changeover on completion of each contract.
· Assist in travel arrangement of the mobilization and de-mobilization of the crewing staff, including Air/Ferry/Land Tickets, Visa application, hotel accommodation and others.
· Ensure candidates are equipped with the relevant requirements (medical, competence certificate / qualification documents) related to STCW and Charterer’s requirements.
· Verify crews’ certificates authenticity.
· Assist on all crew’s welfare issues.
· Perform data-entry, recording, printing and filing duties.
· Maintain a proper and user friendly filing and document control system for recording and tracking of all documents for the team and department.
· Performance appraisal follow up, monthly reporting on crewing matters.
· Check and verify invoices prior submission and approval.
· Stand in for the Crewing Manager during his absence.
Assist in any ad-hoc duties, projects and activities as and when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,556.63 per month
