Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Ascott Host to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the face of Ascott Kuala Lumpur, responsible for engaging with guests, organizing activities, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing guest satisfaction and representing the high standards of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Engagement:
• Welcome guests upon arrival, manage check-in/check-out processes, and provide a warm introduction to the property.
• Offer personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local attractions based on guest preferences.
• Activity Organization:
• Plan and coordinate a variety of guest activities and events, including cultural tours, themed dinners, and social gatherings.
• Encourage guest participation and ensure activities are executed smoothly and efficiently.
• Guest Relations:
• Maintain continuous communication with guests to address their needs, gather feedback, and enhance their overall experience.
• Resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
• Property Representation:
• Act as the brand ambassador for Ascott Kuala Lumpur, upholding and reflecting the property’s values and reputation.
• Provide guests with in-depth knowledge of Kuala Lumpur’s culture, landmarks, and attractions.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, activity participation, and special requests.
• Prepare reports on guest interactions and the success of organized activities.

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; previous experience in guest services, event planning, or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen interest in event planning and guest engagement.
• In-depth knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and its cultural and recreational offerings is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
