Job Description

  • To be responsible for Accounts Receivables (AR) of the development assigned under their care, including:
    • generation of monthly billings (and late payment interests, if any) on time;
    • generation of official receipts upon payment is made;
    • monitoring of accounts receivables’ ageing; and
    • monitoring of daily collections and perform daily / weekly / monthly bank reconciliation against bank statements.

    2. To be responsible for Accounts Payables (AP) of the development assigned under their care, including

    • generation of payment vouchers and prepare payments for AP invoices;
    • generation of official receipts upon payment is made;
    • monitoring and control petty cash float, usage and reimbursement; and
    • perform supplier statement reconciliation.

    3. To prepare the full set of monthly management accounts and prepare the necessary monthly financial reports in a professional manner.

    4. To attend and respond to all feedback and complaints related to accounts promptly and in a professional manner.

    5. To attend monthly meetings with the clients.

    6. To coordinate with and support the external auditor in the conduct of an annual external audit by providing necessary documents and/or explanations during the course of the audit process to achieve a smooth finalization and conclusion of audit.

    7. To coordinate with and support the tax agent by providing necessary documents and/or explanations in relation to tax queries to achieve a smooth finalization and conclusion of tax returns.

    8. To ensure that the collections and expenses are closely monitored and properly recorded, and where appropriate, perform necessary credit control measures with full compliance to provisions of Act 757 and the Strata Management (Maintenance and Management) Regulations 2015.

    9. To perform any other job functions that may be assigned by the Portfolio Managers and/or management to support the overall objectives.

    Job Requirement

    Candidate must:

  • Possess a minimum of a Diploma/Degree in in Accounting / ACCA / CPA / CFA / CIMA / ICAEW / MIA or equivalent.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years working experience at a accounting role in the property & facilities management industry with a reputable and established firm.
  • Resourceful, independent, thorough, organized, computer literate, team player, results focused, self-motivated, self-starter, and excellent oral interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and is able to prepare professional monthly financial reports.
  • Knowledge of the Strata Management Act 2013 [Act 757] and Strata Management (Maintenance and Management) Regulations 2015 will be an added advantage.
