QA/QC MANAGER

A well-established Wire Harness/Cable Assembly Factory with plant in Balakong, Selangor. Looking for suitable candidates for the post of QA/QC Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the quality functions for the entire manufacturing operations.
• To plan, coordinate and monitor the QC activities to achieve product quality.
• To access and recommend investment on inspection equipment to improve effectiveness and efficiency of QC Procedures.
• To lead continual improvement activities.
• To conduct product failure analysis.
• To assess subordinate training needs.
• Establish Quality Management Systems (QMS) and SOPs for qualifications of raw material suppliers and manufacturers.
• Plan and manage the auditing and qualification of collaboration partners.
• Investigating and handling complaints of unsatisfied clients and taking the necessary corrective actions for maintaining the highest quality values, taking into consideration test reports and work progress records.
• Suggesting respective actions whenever problems arise at the project site and assisting in compiling all related documents.
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the section's activities and achievements to be submitted to the Manufacturing Manager.
• In charge of overall quality activities of QC department (Incoming, In-process and outgoing inspection).
• To solve or act on any customers complaint or quality issue.
• To manage non conformity on products, process and quality issue.
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designed channels.
• Verify the implementation of solutions.
• Control further processing or delivery of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
• To be a leader, organize and manage IET : Q Team.
• To study and monitor new part run in production.
• To do defect analysis – internal and customer.
• To coordinate and prepare 8D and AQR report.
• To be auditor for Internal and Process Audit.
• To supervise PQC & FQC daily routine.
• To coordinate and manage statistical activity and FMEA.
• To prepare monthly report for In-process, Outgoing, 8D and AQR performance.
• To perform any jobs or duties as and when required by the Superior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic). Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the QC field.
• Good analytical skills & excellence quality tool skills (7QC Tools, FMEA, SPC & CPK, MSA, APQP, PPAP).
• Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Strong leadership, independent & good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization, supplies and customers.
• Applicants should be Malaysia Citizens or hold relevant residence status,
• Preferable Senior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operation or equivalent.
