The Patient Administration Executive plays a critical frontline role in managing the administrative tasks related to insured patients and claims. This position requires a strong understanding of policy terms (policy jacket), attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. As a key point of contact for both insured patients and healthcare providers, the executive ensures that all processes are carried out accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Accurately issue Guarantee Letters (GL) and Final Guarantee Letters (FGL) following the schedule of benefits and client requirements. Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service by accurately responding to customer/client inquiries. Ensure all cases are attended to within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT) and processed with high accuracy. Conduct audits of medical bills to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with policy terms. Process claims during night shifts, based on a roster schedule, ensuring continuous support and service to clients. Review and interpret policy jackets to ensure accurate processing of claims and issuance of GLs/FGLs. Liaise with healthcare providers to manage top-ups, excess amounts, and other related matters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients’ schedules of benefits to ensure accurate claim processing and advice. Collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims or benefits. Prepare and send detailed documentation and invoices related to claims for client review and processing. Qualifications and Skills: Strong understanding of insurance policies, particularly policy jackets and benefits schedules. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle calls and inquiries professionally. High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Ability to work night shifts on a roster basis. Prior experience in Medical Science, Bio Medical science, healthcare administration, health insurance claims processing, or a related field is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
