Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Assist in the preparation of invoices and receipts.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements by comparing them with the general ledger.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and track expenses and payments.
- Administrative Support:
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions. Assist in filing and organizing financial documents.
- Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Account Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
