Account Assistant

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry and Record Keeping:
• Enter financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Assist in the preparation of invoices and receipts.
• Account Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank statements by comparing them with the general ledger.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor and track expenses and payments.
• Administrative Support:
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions. Assist in filing and organizing financial documents.
• Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Account Assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
