Mechanical Automation Specialist

- Responsible for inspecting automated machines imported from China to ensure quality control of the products produced. - Responsible for training local employees in the manufacturing process to meet the standards set by the related company in China. - Responsible to install and configure automation systems, including robotic arms, conveyors, and wood processing equipment. - Responsible in collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure proper integration and alignment of automation systems with production needs. - Responsible to conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on automated machinery and equipment used in wood processing, such as robotic systems, conveyors, and saws. - Responsible to conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks on automation equipment to ensure smooth operation. - Responsible to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, electrical and mechanical failures, and programming errors to minimize downtime. - Responsible to program and reprogram automation systems to meet specific production requirements, including design changes, customizations, and improvements in efficiency. - Responsible to optimize automation processes for increased throughput, reduced waste, and improved product quality. - Responsible for ensuring that all automation systems and processes adhere to safety standards and regulations to protect workers and prevent accidents. - Responsible to conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and implement safety measures to protect workers and equipment. - Responsible to collect and analyze data from automated systems to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Responsible to use data analysis to make informed decisions regarding maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, and process enhancements. - Responsible to maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and programming codes. - Responsible to create and update documentation for automation systems, including schematics, technical drawings, and troubleshooting guides. - Responsible to work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems into wood manufacturing processes. - Responsible for collaborating with external suppliers and service providers for technical support and procurement of spare parts. - Responsible for staying updated on advancements in automation technology, software, and equipment to propose and implement innovative solutions. - Responsible to attend training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
