Position Overview:

The Lecturer in Forensic Medicine educates students about forensic medicine, conducts research, and provides expert consultations on medico-legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Academic Duties:

  • Develop and update course materials and syllabi.

2. Clinical and Medico-Legal Responsibilities:

  • Perform autopsies and forensic examinations.
  • Provide expert opinions and reports for law enforcement.
  • Supervise students and junior doctors in clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and legal professionals.
  • Stay updated on advancements in forensic medicine.

3. Research and Scholarly Activities:

  • Conduct research in forensic medicine and related fields.
  • Publish findings in journals and present at conferences.
  • Develop research proposals and seek funding.
  • Supervise postgraduate research projects.
  • Collaborate with institutions on forensic research initiatives.

4. Administrative Duties:

  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to program planning.

Qualifications:
