  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Appraises vehicle damage to determine cost of repair.
  • Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
  • Inspect and estimates repair job needed for vehicle into recond center.
  • Reviews repair cost provided by recond center staff.
  • In the event of a disagreement with recond center on repair cost, arranges to have damage appraised by team lead or manager to resolve the situation.
  • Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
  • Manage and control each vehicle repair cost and item, to keep it within company standards and cost.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent required.

At least one years of experience in an automotive warehouse, repair center, dealership, or similar facility is highly preferred.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Strong initiative and continuous improvement mindset.
