The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods for Bluedeebaj. This role involves ensuring that all operations comply with the company’s policies and objectives, working towards optimizing logistics processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Operations:
  • Plan and manage the logistics operations including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in inventory control and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure timely deliveries and avoid shortages.
  • Manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to meet their logistics needs efficiently.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Ensure accurate stock records and inventory systems are maintained.
  • Implement and manage stock control systems to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
  • Oversee the proper storage and distribution of products in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Fleet & Transportation Management:
  • Oversee the management and scheduling of transportation vehicles.
  • Optimize transportation routes to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with legal requirements and maintenance schedules.
  • Track shipments and ensure proper handling of goods to avoid damages or delays.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics transactions.
  • Ensure all documentation, including delivery notes, receipts, and invoices, are handled correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to logistics and transportation.
  • Maintain records of goods received, stock movement, and shipments.
  • Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
  • Liaise with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any discrepancies or delays in deliveries.
  • Manage contracts with logistics service providers to ensure the best rates and services.
  • Team Management:
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Ensure the team follows safety and operational protocols in handling goods.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and help resolve any operational issues.
  • Problem-Solving & Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle any transportation issues or delays and work to mitigate risks.
  • Continuously seek cost-saving measures in the logistics process without compromising quality.
  • Reporting:
  • Generate and submit regular reports on inventory status, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and suggest improvements based on data analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation, and warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for logistics and transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
