Our client is a renowned fashion company with brand exposure around the globe. This position is a new role based in Malaysia to oversees the country's learning and development department.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with regional Learning and Development department to create a comprehensive learning and development strategy.
  • Assist in designing and delivering effective learning programs, workshops, and training sessions tailored to various employee levels and functions within the retail space.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including logistics, materials preparation, and participant communication.
  • Assist in conducting needs assessments to determine skill gaps and learning requirements across different departments and job roles.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to measure learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in learning and development focusing on sales and training preferably with fashion retail or service industry background.
  • Strong understanding of fashion industry dynamics, trends, and challenges, with a passion for staying updated with the latest industry developments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyse data to measure training effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
