Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating books of account on monthly basis in Oracle Finance & preparing monthly Financials for the Malaysia & Indonesia entities.
  • To prepare Quarterly Presentations for the Malaysia & Indonesia entities & conduct reviews with the Board of Directors along with CFO & CEO
  • To Lead Budget and forecasting process – Sales, Inventory Management, Intake and Margins, Stock liquidation planning, and corporate planning & submission to the CFO & CEO for review & thereafter getting reviewed with the Board of Directors
  • Serve as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing the earnings guidance scenario modelling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Work as a Business Partner with Finance Head and Board and monitor the strategic plans which will have to be converted into Annual Operating Plans aligned with the company's long-term strategies. These will have to be institutionalized by defining the review mechanism.
  • Provide critical financial and operational information to the Finance Head and Management and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • FM would be responsible for developing strategic plans growth of the organization. The role will be responsible for the formulation & implementation of corporate financial strategies.
  • Oversee the development of the annual operating plan and costs management in alignment with the company's mission.
  • Analysis and assessment of capital required over the plan period and arranging finance.
  • Ensure the financial integrity of the company and be fully accountable for the accuracy of the company's financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and effective financial statements with efficient and effective accounting systems and SOPs while establishing internal controls.
  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing monthly operating statements and understanding their trends including inventory controls.
  • Responsible for preparing reports, summaries of company business activity, and financial positions for senior management and Investors.
  • Responsible for complete tax planning, tax compliance, and monitoring other taxation issues for the company.
  • Timely reporting of various financial and other business-related information that forecasts the company's business activity as required by financial regulation both internally and externally.
  • The FM will be required to develop and create broader governance and manage Compliance and Regulatory issues.

Skills / Experience Requirement:

  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • IFRS/ GAAPs/ MFRS/ Taxation.
