Essential Skills

• Previous experience within a financial planning role.
• Experience of working in fast paced, dynamic environments.
• Ability to work with non-financial stakeholders to provide value adding financial support, challenge and analysis
• Experience of working with stakeholders of differing levels of seniority up to and including directors.
• Comfortable using numerous accounting packages with a good understanding of systems and ability to understand data quickly
• Good Powerpoint and presenting skills, comfortable presenting to, and receiving challenge from, senior management
• Advanced Excel skills to enable manipulation of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytic
• Ability to display insight by manipulating linking multiple data sources (both internal & external) in different ways to provide value adding recommendations.
• Use insight to proactively identify areas of improvement and working on own initiative.
• Highly organised / structured approach, with the ability to co-ordinate a large number tasks simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met with clear, logical plans and foresight to pre-empt obstacles.
• Advise key stakeholders using technical expertise and experience
• Build relationships across the business to ensure delivery of tasks
• Own delivery of targets and hold relevant people accountable for delivery
• Ability to overcome obstacles whilst remaining professional and motivated.
• Share best practice amongst the team and work collaboratively to deliver to achieve team’s objectives
• Ability to demonstrate Influencing skills across colleagues of differing levels, both internal & external to finance
• Able to work effectively under pressure to deliver high quality work

Desirable Skills

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with good academics & experience (c5 yrs + PQE)
• Commercially astute, strategic thinker with ability to assess all targets in relation to the overall corporate strategy.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
• FP&A Manager role in a manufacturing environment
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with good academics & experience (c5 yrs + PQE)

Desirable

• Cost accounting knowledge
• Capital or Treasury knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM14,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
