Job Scope

  • To conduct research, development and troubleshooting activities according to management planning.
  • To conduct sampling and fieldworks.

  • Practical communication skills to write technical reports and explain complex chemical concepts to others.

  • Strong mathematical skills to perform calculations and statistical analysis for research and development purposes.
  • Willing to work shift, based Banting and support Northport lab and meeting at KL office. (Fix Car Allowances is provided) & Banting plant lunch provided.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or a related field such as Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Petroleum and Environment.

2 – 5 years working experience in related field such as Waste Management, Energy, Oil & Gas, Tribology, Chemical Processing, Wastewater, Electrochemistry and Photovoltaic Chemistry.

Knowledge in chemical handling safety and health

Proficiency in laboratory instrument such as ICP, GC-MS, HPLC, FTIR, etc.

Proficiency in various reference methods such as ASTM, APHA, IP,

Soft Skill

Able to follow instruction and research objectives while work independently.

Keen to learn.
