Position Summary: The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of plastic injection molding operations.   • Manage and mentor a team of production staff, technicians, and engineers.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.
  • Promote a culture of safety and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of injection molding machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment upgrades as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and management of the departmental budget.
  • Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with finance to analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Engage with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing operations (5+ years).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
