Operation Manager(Plastic | Up to 25k)

Position Summary: The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of plastic injection molding operations. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing processes, and leading a team of operators and technicians to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the injection molding process.
• Implement quality control procedures and lead root cause analysis for quality issues.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a team of production staff, technicians, and engineers.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.
• Promote a culture of safety and address any safety concerns promptly.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of injection molding machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment upgrades as necessary.
• Assist in the development and management of the departmental budget.
• Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with finance to analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with the design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production processes.
• Engage with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in manufacturing operations (5+ years).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
