  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for assisting in the testing and validation of system application and product testing to ensure they meet business requirements and function properly before being released to end-users. The role involves executing test cases, reporting defects, deliver user requirements specifications and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues to ensure it delivers a seamless user experience across Operations process.

The Job:

  • Assist superior in managing and tracking user driven IT projects.
  • Assist superior in gathering user requirements specifications for IT developers.
  • Review and understand business requirements and functional specifications to assist in developing test cases.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases based on provided test scripts and document actual outcomes
  • Identify discrepancies between expected and actual results and report defects to superior and IT team. Track percentage of success rate for the testing.
  • Assist in communicating UAT progress, results and issues to the testing team and project stakeholders
  • Provide briefing to the team on any system enhancement deployment to production.
  • Log detailed defect reports in the test management system and update respective documents on process changes due to system enhancement.
  • Maintain detailed records of test case execution, results and any issues encountered and ensure proper documentation is maintained for all testing activities.

Our Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or a related field. Other professional qualification in Insurance/ Takaful i.e: AMII/ DMII/ LOMA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in system/ product testing, UAT, or related role in an Insurance/Takaful industry/ Other Financial institution /Service Provider.
  • Understands Testing Methodologies; familiar with software testing concepts, including UAT.
  • Attention to details; a keen eye for identifying inconsistencies and defects during testing.
  • Good written and verbal communication to report test outcomes, issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team, following guidance from superior or senior testers and collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Has fundamentals knowledge of Insurance/ Takaful Systems
