Position Summary

This position will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing advanced sales analytics tools, models, and processes to solve complex business problems and enable the sales organization in Sealed Air’s APAC region. This role will work cross functionally to understand and integrate business needs into custom-built tools and models to include territory/coverage optimization, segmentation, target/quota setting, and incentives modeling. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the APAC region with maintenance, training, and ad hoc requests pertaining to sales analytics tools and processes.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Design, develop, implement, and train constituents on new enhanced analytics tools and processes which enable the sales teams of the APAC to meet business objectives and solve complex business problems.
  • Partner with APAC Sales and Commercial teams to understand business needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to harmonize, create, and execute scalable sales planning models and tools related to Territory and Coverage Optimization, Segmentation, Target and Quota Setting Cascade, and Incentive Compensation What-If Modeling.
  • Work with Sales and Commercial teams to sustain and further Sales Analytics execution including analytics and insight-driving dashboards related to sales growth, sales performance management, pipeline dynamics, strategic accounts, and incentive performance/impact.
  • Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in CRM and other sales enablement systems. Proactively work to improve systems knowledge and best practice in the APAC.
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests from leadership and the APAC Sales Operations team including related corporate initiatives such as CRM, Sales PM, and Planning/Modeling.
  • Continuously maintain and optimize APAC Sales analyses based on feedback and an ever-changing business landscape that results in refreshed data sets that meet stakeholder needs.
  • Champions appropriate value- and knowledge-selling approach – Trains commercial teams about value- and knowledge-selling methodologies to help those teams deepen their understanding of customer needs and deliver critical solutions; understands sector/industry needs and economic drives and can translate that understanding into programs to drive a more effective sales force.
  • Lead or participate in special projects designed to continuously improve commercial processes with regional constituents and the APAC Revenue Operations team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant business field
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience in sales or sales operations, with strong analytical aptitude, proficient at Customer relationship Management “CRM” systems such as C4C, SFDC and others. Open to fresh graduates who have strong data tool knowledge and experience in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, experience with macros is a plus, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office products.

  • Experience manipulating data for visualization, analysis, insight generation, and ultimately creating actionable recommendations
  • Experience in Sales, Revenue, and Compensation analyses and modeling
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong listening, and presentation skills with the ability to comprehensively explain concepts of commercial excellence and related initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Effectively communicates up and down the organization
  • Strong facilitation & training skills

  • Self-Starter who excels at taking an idea, sometimes indeterminate in nature, and creating a tangible solution from it
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with macros is a plus, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office products
