Job Purpose

The AM Operations is expected to manage all aspects of the entire warehouse operations including inbound management, storage methodology and management, inventory management, reverse logistics, containerized operations including export as well as East Malaysia shipment, consumable items including packing material and pallet management for both finished and raw sugar products. Required to develop and implement plans for the warehouse operations and review operational procedures. Work closely with others department to drive business initiative and ensure smooth execution. Communicates with management regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation.

Job Responsibilities

• To assist Lead, Supply Chain to monitor warehouse operations and ensure local and export orders are issued asper Sales Order and Shipment Instruction.
• To monitor warehouse space utilization and update the Lead, Supply Chain from time to time.
• To ensure all receiving of inbound sugar to propose storage location are accurate performed.
• To monitor and ensure sufficient sugar stocks at all MSM own or external warehouses for the local and export order.
• To monitor and ensure stock of liquid sugar and molasses in MSM and in external storage for the local and export order.
• To liaise with transporters management team (MSML) for the supply of lorry transfer sugar to customers and inter warehouse.
• Responsible for the shipment plan execution, shipping arrangement of sugar to East Malaysia and export customer.
• To monitor the transportation arrangement for bulk sugar and molasses according to customer requirements.
• To monitor molasses and liquid sugar stock and delivery to customers.
• To ensure the accuracy and quality of the physical refined sugar stock. To report any discrepancies observed.
• To ensure sufficient workforce is planned on daily basis for smooth operations. To monitor the discipline and attendance of the team. Includes contract workers.
• To monitor the conditions and the downtime of the MHE used in the warehouse operations. To highlight and ensure there is sufficient MHEs for daily operations.
• To arrange and monitor housekeeping activities inside as well as the warehouse surroundings.
• Responsible for all the EMH activities and to guide the team to ensure smooth and continuous supply of packing materials and pallets to avoid packing failures.
• Comply, support and follows all company policies, procedures and all statutory requirements within area of responsibility and ensure taking care of own health, safety and environment at all time.
• Aware & comply on all GMP, Food Safety & Quality requirements at all time within MSMJ premise
• Knowledge and experience with warehouse and inventory manage mentor ERP systems (e.g.,SAP, Oracle).
