Gelato Demi Chef/ Commis - Putra Height

As a Gelato Demi Chef or Commis, you will play a key role in the preparation and production of gelato and sorbet. You will work closely with the Gelato Production Chef to ensure the highest standards of product quality, consistency, and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of gelato.
• Ensure all gelato products meet our quality standards.
• Help develop new gelato flavors and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the gelato production area.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Culinary Arts or Pastry is required.
• Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and methods.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
