Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager - Bunkering at AIZO Group Berhad located in Batu Pahat, Johor. The General Manager will oversee bunkering operations, manage a team, develop business strategies, build client relationships, and ensure operational efficiency. The role involves overseeing the bunkering activities, compliance with regulations, and driving business growth in the oil & gas industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in shipping or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the maritime industry; a background in port logistics and/or seafaring is advantageous.
  • Experience in bunkering, shipping agency, or other shipping-related organizations, preferably in operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global and regional bunker markets, trends, regulations, and credit risk management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Strong leadership skills and personal mastery.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and overcome unexpected obstacles.
