The role involves evaluating and processing third-party applications on commercial tems mainly on Utilities application within PLUS right-of-way, ensuring compliance with government regulations. The role also entails collecting fees from third parties, maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations in commercial development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to non-toll revenue via the collection of wayleave, processing and monitoring fees from Utilities projects that interface with PLUS Berhad.
  • To ensure all processing and monitoring fee and wayleave fee that charged to third parties are collected and received within stipulated time.
  • Liaise with Government Agencies in line with duties such as LLM, KKR, JKR etc.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant external stakeholders in delivering the commercial development activities to ensure compliance to standard and regulation.
  • Manage the project approval process from evaluation, documentation and execution and assist in the preparation of key documents such as Management Approval Papers, Conditional Approval are executed by the relevant approving authorities of PLUS Berhad.
  • Assist in negotiating and collecting Wayleave Fee and all relevant fees from 3rd parties to in alignment with PLUS Berhad’s KPI targets on Non Toll Income.
  • Assist Head of Unit to in liaising with 3rd party project teams and MHA during the execution of projects to ensure the timely completion of projects and adherence to our internal technical and HSSE policies.
  • Preparation, review and execution of legal correspondences, agreements and documents relevant to the generation of non-toll income on behalf of the department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in highway construction monitoring, operation and maintenance.
  • Good in public relations.
  • Able to communicate confidently with respective government agencies.
  • Experience in monitoring and coordinating third party projects.
  • Experience in solving problem of encroachment with third party.
  • Innovative ideas to make change whilst handling daily task.
