Job Description:

SEA Account Manager will lead the development and implementation of sales strategies that will deliver business growth and financial profitability mainly in Malaysia /Singapore /Philippines, potentially in other areas of Asia.

1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve the company’s goals in key financial performance indicators.

2. Review, analyze and report sales performance periodically (monthly, quarterly) against a set budget and recommend corrective actions to improve performance in the ensuing period(s).

3. Provide an advance forecast of sales revenue/quantity.

Business Development

1. Continuously seek growth opportunities.

2. Establish new customers and expand market shares mainly in Malaysia /Singapore /Philippines.

3. Development of a promotional plan for new products as the company directs.

4. Continuous industry/customer information collection to facilitate strategic decision-making.

5. Continuous collection of competitor information for feedback to facilitate strategic decision-making.

Customer Relationships/CSX

1. Built and sustain robust customer relationships with all levels of customers, especially the key stakeholders.

2. Develop a strong sales and customer support team and implement best practices to give customers value-for-money services.

3. Attend, respond and resolve customers’ complaints (concerning product quality, and workmanship in a professional and timely manner).

4. Coordinate with another functional department to achieve customer satisfaction.

Others

1. Monitor the execution of the action plan to achieve the desired outcome.

2. Management of the DSO performance.

3. Be part of the Management team and participate actively in business decisions to enhance the overall performance of the company.

4. Work closely with production, logistics and other support personnel in the company.

Profile:

  • Recognized degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management.
  • Process an intimate understanding of the Petroleum, Chemical & Food industries’ industrial packaging needs.
  • Project Management Training-PMI Certificate
  • Good knowledge of financial and accounting implications to product costing, the relationship between volume, contribution and profitability of the company
  • Have practical strategic and tactical marketing knowledge.
  • Strong sales personality with good networking, influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to create a strong rapport with customers at the management level to build and enhance the relationship.
  • Good analytical skills to map out the sales and marketing strategy. Strong computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English.
