Currently looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer with hands on experience with end-to-end automation testing.

Our client is a major player in the Fintech industry that is expanding their team and looking for seasoned testers to join and support the software testing cycle.

Your Task And Responsibilities
  • Handling end-to-end testing process from development of test plan to the documentation and reporting of the testing cycle.
  • Understanding company product and design, then prepare test cases based on requirements.
  • Prepare, develop and maintain automation test scripts on the repository tools.
  • Use prior experience with automation tools to develop and execute automation test.
  • Carry out non-functional tests (performance, scalability) to ensure highest quality of product.
  • Liaise with the software development team regarding issues that need to be addressed and methods for fixing it.
  • Prepare proper documentation of the test plan, test cases and test report throughout the STLC.
  • As a senior, you would also need to provide guidance to the juniors in the team in preparing their test cases and conducting scripting analysis.

What You’ll Need To Thrive In This Position
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing cycle.
  • Qualifications wise: Having a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or anything related
  • Since it is a senior position, someone with 3-5 years hands on experience in automation testing.
  • Deep understanding with testing tools like Postman, Playwright, Selenium, TestRail, JMeter, K6 or similar technologies.
  • Familiar with task management tools like Jira and Confluence and CI/CD pipeline like Jenkins and Github Actions.
  • Familiarity with Docker file and creating docker image.
  • General understanding of Unix/Linux commands
  • Able to work fully on site in a fast paced working environment.
