  • Manage and lead an inside sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth.
    • Drive and implement changes in strategies if required.
  • Set individual and team targets, monitor progress, and provide coaching to improve performance.
    • Coach and mentor team members (direct or non-direct report) to improve their sales skills, objection handling, and negotiation techniques.
  • Drive team hygiene in meeting Inside sales KPI/Metrics, inclusive of daily call plan, pipeline management and able to provide live coaching/listening sessions with customers.
  • Manage customers/internal escalation with no/little compromise of customer experience.
  • Identify market trends, competitive activities, and potential opportunities to refine sales approach.
  • Arrange and manage on going training, development and up-skilling to the sales team including product knowledge, sales methodologies and in area of effective communications.
  • Foster positive team environment that promotes motivation and development
    • Able to create a working environment that is conducive to individual growth and high performance.
  • Collaborate with other business stakeholders to foster cross functional communication and drive overall objective.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or management
  • Proven experience as sales manager or relevant role, preferably in remote/virtual setting and able to create and manage a professional sales culture team.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales methodologies, customer lifecycle, and sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire remote team.
  • Proficiency in CRM to track sales activities, manage leads and analyze data.
  • Result driven mindset with track record of exceeding targets.
  • Able to adapt to changing market environment and implement sales strategies with fast turn around time.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Availability to work flexi hours to cater for different time zone.
