About the Role

Responsible for handling information technology infrastructure as well as applications and software within AIA and providing technical support to internal users

Job Responsibilities

• Provide submission assistance to customers for Packaging Requests – Package Request Form (PRF) creation
• Check the requirements generated by the application's owner.
• Work with the Application Owner to resolve any requirements issues that have been identified.
• Inform the Application Owner of the Packaging Request's complexity category.
• Obtain Application Owners' approval for the Packaging Request.
• Keep track of all applications, Application Owners, versions, and packaging statuses in the applications list.
• Perform integration testing of Application Packages in the Software Distribution framework's customer Controlled Test Environment (CTE).
• The deployment test and a "Basic Functionality Test" were carried out.
• Prepare the UAT environment at the test centre or on-site, as agreed upon with the customer.
• Coordination of UAT testing scheduling with the customer Application Owner (s)
• Notify and update all relevant systems with the UAT status (Failure/Pass).
• Conduct incident and root cause analysis for incidents that occur during integration and UAT testing.
• Troubleshoot old internally developed applications and remediate them to work on Windows 10
• Development of Custom Scripts and installation logic.
• Create technical documents for applications packaging.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of working experience on Application Packaging Windows Installer (MSI), Microsoft App-v, Citrix XenApp, VMware ThinApp Specialist Level Skills in Flexera AdminStudio, Windows Application Virtualization Offerings such as Microsoft App-v, Citrix XenApp, etc., is required.
• Knowledge of Application Package distribution tools is required (SCCM 2012, Intune).
• Solid grasp of Image Engineering tools and processes (Microsoft Deployment Tools) Solid understanding of Client Virtualization Services (CVS)
• Knowledge of VBScript and PowerShell is required.
• Knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and general operating system administration is required.
• Using tools like Process Monitor, Process Explorer, Dependency Walker, and Installrite, you can troubleshoot and resolve complex and escalated application issues.
