The restaurant is pork-free but serves alcohol.
Responsibilities
· Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
· Supervise and train staff, providing guidance on service standards and best practices.
· Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.
· Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction.
· Support in maintaining health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
· Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events and special functions.
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication and service flow.
· Help with scheduling and staff management to optimize team performance.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
· Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles
· Candidates will be offered a chance to undergo training with an internationally acclaimed chef who owns a Michelin Star restaurant in Thailand.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
· Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
· Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
· Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
· Willing to work in Georgetown, Penang.
