Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy:

  • Breaking down R&D planning strategies or business initiatives into key tasks and identifying accountabilities by aligning communication, people, culture, processes, resources, and system to ensure effective implementation and delivery required results.
  • Understanding and utilizing economic, financial and industry data to accurately diagnose warehouse strength and weakness, identifying key issues, developing strategies and plan.

Operational:

  • To fulfil internal and external customer satisfaction and to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set by the superiors.
  • To direct and coordinate the activities of the R&D by ensure all new product, test run product and presentation been arranged accordingly.
  • To ensure all price changes for material been update in the system.
  • Regularly providing R&D status updates to management, and facilitating the timely support during launching new product.
  • To initiate and propose to management for substitute material in case of material out of stock in the market.
  • Control and manage budget, plan and material to ensure the optimum utilization of available equipment, resources and labor force to attain R&D objective/targets.
  • Continuously to improve methods, effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor R&D plan by monthly basis concurrently with Ready To Eat (RTE) department.
  • Any other related jobs/tasks as deemed suitable from the management related to the department/factory KPI achievements.

People:

  • Passionately liaise with procurement and production to ensure R&D material can be source and process flow for new item well plan and manage.
  • Passionately liaise with production for training and educate staff level from time to time.
  • Passionately liaise with subordinate in term of training required and base on management vision and mission.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in culinary / hotel management or equivalent with more than 5 years’ experience in the role Assistant Manager and above
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
