Key Responsibilities:

  • To accomplish quality assurance objective by monitoring, maintaining, implementing, reviewing, and enforcing the FSMS and HALAL policies & SOP related in the organization as well as manage the external and internal audits. This included but not limited to develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses and monitoring procedures;
  • To work with Procurement Department and Production Kitchen Department to ensure the quality of supplies is comply to FSMS and HALAL requirement;
  • To handle and ensure the FSMS and HAS documentation and certification always staying current, complete and updated as per the certification & laws and regulations requirement and compliance;
  • To manage customer complaint investigations and product quality failures, also participating in the resolution of internal and external complaints or quality issues;
  • To manage the relevant FSMS and HALAL documentation in ERP system;
  • To prepare and manage the monthly documentations and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends;
  • To lead and manage the quality assurance, quality control, & Halal team;
  • To lead and provide the training in QAQC and HALAL related;
  • To manage, assign, and schedule the department manning of job assignment and duty roaster;
  • To meets department financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures; and
  • Any other ad-hoc / new assignments or duties that may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Tech, or field related in management role in F&B manufacturing industry with product lines.
  • 8 to 10 years of working experience in the related field is required with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Must have experience in handle internal and external audit.
  • Must have experience in handle internal and external complaints.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software is essential for handling department tasks and assignment.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines is vital for efficient work. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication with team members and stakeholders is necessary for smooth operations. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently is essential for maintaining a productive work environment. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to lead a medium size of department manning.
  • Possess the knowledge and understanding in food safety regulation, HALAL, OSHA, and related, especially in HALAL, HACCP and ISO22000.
