  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Objective:

  • Responsible to find opportunities from data, drive health analytics initiatives, leverage on BI platform for actionable insights to Senior Management team to execute business decisions, operation efficiency and cost containment.
  • This is an individual contributor role and will report to the Senior Manager of the department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Analytics & Insights
  • Conduct analysis for medical inflation, cost driver and healthcare KPI metrics such as of loss ratio, claim severity & frequency.
  • Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in large and complex datasets related to financial and operation problem statements.
  • Handle key business and performance metrics, conduct analysis and investigations on result to improve efficiency and opportunities.

2. Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Streamline and development of self-service BI/Reporting Platforms through automation.
  • Creation and maintenance of PBI Dashboard/ Automated Reports to support stakeholders for data visualization.

3. Projects and Data Governance

  • Support AI/ML and Digitalisation (OCR/EDI) solutions and output, evaluate alternative solutions for operations consumption.
  • Manages datamart and work with data team to gather relevant data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and quality and continuously strengthening analytics & insights capabilities.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree graduate (or above) in numerate discipline e.g., Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistic, or Computer Science.
  • A least 3 years of related working experience in analytic roles or relevant fields. Experience in Insurance Operations or Healthcare analytics would be a plus.
  • Exposure to data analytics project lifecycle (data requirement, extraction, exploration, transformation, development, implementation, insights).
  • Proficient in SQL programming or other database query tools and strong capability with dashboard tools including Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of data models, mining, segmentation, machine learning techniques and algorithms will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill with the ability to articulating findings insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Adaptive to change and flexible in an evolving, fast-paced, and high-pressure working environment.
