Distributor Risk and Control Manager

• Bachelors or Masters in accounting or finance and qualified Accountant, Auditor or Controller
• 6 -10 years of working experience in a matrix complex organisation, preferably in an international organization (preferably FMCG industry) or larger Consultancy / Audit Firm
• Proven knowledge and work experience in distributor end-to-end business processes, internal control compliance, and process improvements
• Experience with data analytics, dashboarding (preferably in the area of distributor internal control compliance)
• Experience with Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM), and Distributor Management System (DMS) will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills, hands-on and problem solving
• Business acumen and judgment; balancing control & pragmatism
• Influencing without authority, direct and remotely
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Effective at dealing with people at all levels (interpersonal skills)
• Professional communication in English and writing and verbal
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.

General

• As part of the Enterprise Governance, Risk & Control (EGRC) team, lead RFC's distributor internal control compliance activities (i.e. implement & use monitoring analytics, analyse data insights and participate in specific distributor reviews, risk deep-dives, control implementations, control optimizations, control standard setting, etc.)
• Continuously creating awareness of internal controls and enhancing the risk & control culture and mindset within the organisation.

Specific:

• Roll out monitoring activities for distributor internal controls compliance (i.e. plan, coordinate monitoring, and implement structural process of exceptions follow up)
• Coordinate the follow up on identified exceptions and work with Operating company stakeholders to implement improvement actions
• Based on learnings from common exceptions, propose and roll out structural control improvement across Operating companies
• Periodic reporting of distributor internal controls compliance status to Corporate, Regional and Operating company stakeholders
• Coordinates specific distributor analytics input request from R&C community or stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate specific distributor deep-dive and investigation(s)
• Identify new distributor compliance controls and transition these controls to be onboarded in Continuous Control Monitoring
• Validate and roll out new/enhanced Continuous Control Monitoring insights in the area of distributor internal control compliance and incorporate in the monitoring approach
• Harmonizes (one way of working) the distributor internal control review program for those countries with existing local review program
• Works with regional commercial team to continuously create awareness on distributor internal control compliance (i.e. via workshops and training to RFC commercial employees and distributors)
• Participate in global/regional Risk & Control related engagements and support larger or manage smaller Risk & Control engagement based on subject matter expertise.
