Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor project status while managing interdependencies and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the product owner on the project roadmap and deliverables.
  • Oversee all project activities and act as the key contact for the business project team.
  • Assist the product owner in day-to-day operations and drive projects from start to finish.
  • Manage technology team resources within the Product team.
  • Engage with stakeholders at various levels, from local business unit representatives to senior management and steering committee members.
  • Define and establish the project documentation repository in Confluence.
  • Facilitate resource planning and the onboarding process for external vendors or project resources.
  • Oversee the budget and manage spending across all aspects of the project.
  • Monitor project progress, report findings, and recommend improvements.
  • Apply change control procedures and obtain timely agreements from key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Infrastructure/Networking provisioning and architecture design, seeking relevant party approvals.
  • Manage security/compliance clearances for IT-related projects.
  • Facilitate the DevSecOps process and target operating model design for solutions.
  • Oversee the transition of solutions from project mode to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience Level: 10+ years as a Technology Project Manager, preferably in the financial services industry. Risk/compliance domain knowledge is beneficial.
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field.
  • ServiceNow implementation experience is desired.

Specific Skills:

  • Expertise in technical project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of cloud technology (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) and familiarity with the MS Azure suite (e.g., Data Lake, Data Brick, ADF, API Management).
  • Experience implementing cloud applications at a regional level, covering local business units.
  • Ability to adapt to DevOps and Agile methodologies for product implementation.
  • Proficiency in DevOps/Agile management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of the CI/CD DevOps model, with knowledge of tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM250,000.00 - RM300,000.00 per year
