  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

TRANSPORT ASSISTANT OPERTATIONS MANAGER

PRE REQUISITE :

1. MINIMUM 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN LOGISTICS- HEAVY HAULAGE : LOW LOADER INDUSTRY, WELL VERSED IN PORT CLEARANCE PROCEDURES- NORTH PORT/ WESTPORT , EXPORT, IMPORT SHIPMENTS.

2. GOOD NETWORKING SKILLS & COMMUNICATION TO LIAS WITH CUSTOMERS IN ENGLISH, MANDARIN & BAHASA MALAYSIA.

3. ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY & AS A TEAM WITH DRIVERS & OPERATIONS TEAM.

SCOPE OF WORK:

i. Assist Transport Manager in ensuring smooth running of operations at store yard.

ii. Ensure the smooth running of Transport Delivery operations and other handlings:

- Planning and assigning lorries & ensure drivers are on time meeting Client’s requirements.

- Ensure drivers know the direction routes to delivery destination and all relevant documents needed for collection/ delivery are passed to them beforehand.

- Coordinating with Operations team & also communicating to clients to update all parties on delivery status.

- Planning if other services are required by clients. Eg, the need for stuffing/ unstuffing , route survey, crane/ forklift.

- Coordinate and contact our regular suppliers if outside lorry / outside crane/ lashing services needed ( if we do not have).

iii. Perform Route Survey ( when requested by clients) for oversized cargoes:

iv. Continually Build Relationship with clients & potential new clients and ensure all Quotation enquiries are attended to promptly and follow through with email correspondances / follow up calls and visits with potential clients.

v. You are also expected to perform other duties that may be laid down from time to time by the company; on top of those not specifically listed above.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
