The role at Oracle Construction and Engineering encompasses the industry’s most advanced solutions for planning, building and operating assets, collaborating with leading organisations globally. This role will report to the Business Engineering Director for ANZ, ASEAN & India. This role’s key objective is to support commercial activity and accelerate revenue growth for the Oracle Infrastructure Industries Unit primarily in ASEAN however may involve the rest of JAPAC on an ad-hoc basis.

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Candidate should possess expertise in:

  • Construction Management, Portfolio Management, and Collaboration tool
  • Cost Control, Contract Management, Document Control, and Project Collaboration
  • Scheduling techniques and tools.
  • Risk Management Best Practices
  • Data Analytic and Business Intelligence tools and techniques
  • Building information Model knowledge and experience
  • Designing and implementing project management information systems
  • PMO Setup and Operation, Project Management Best Practices, Strategic Planning and Execution
  • AACE, PMI, and/or Prince2 Certifications
  • Proven performance in a pre-sales support role selling a SaaS solution from initial contact through product demonstration to close in addition to drafting RFP responses.
  • Experience in the Construction and Engineering industry, focused on:
  • Design and Construction Collaboration – Documents, BIM, QA/Field
  • Experience in one or more of the following verticals:
  • Engineering & Construction
  • Oil & Gas (Preferred)
  • Utilities (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing
  • Must be technology evangelists and promoters of modernizing the Construction industry
  • Any exposure to AI or Predictive Analysis solutions would be preferred
  • PPM industry and software experience
  • Understanding of the construction industry across different verticals (general contracting, subcontracting, real estate development, owner, etc.)
  • Experience with commercial and project collaboration software
  • Knowledge / experience in PMIS integrations with other systems like ERP.
  • Experience in analyzing and responding to RFPs and bid proposals respectively.
  • Should understand business of the concerned region and should be comfortable interacting and presenting our solution to the Client / Marketing events / Seminars.
