Role Summary
· Store Merchandising
a. Prepare and manage store designs, layouts, and elevations for retail stores (including: new stores / the re-model of current stores / the relocation of stores) to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes.
b. Regular store visits and to provide report after store visits.
· Roadshow & Events
a. To conceptualize roadshows in accordance to campaigns provided by management.
b. To work within budget provided and meet deadlines given.
c. To ensure set-up and branding is executed effectively and reflects brand concept clearly.
d. Support visual merchandising for ad-hoc events: PR events, blogger and other events deemed necessary by the management.
· New Outlet Opening
a. In charge of new outlet opening in accordance with the Management’s planning / schedule and requirements.
b. Execute / take charge of projects by planning, coordinating with mall management, contractor, sub-contractors, suppliers on drawings and details.
c. Work closely with the respective department / person in charge to ensure smooth operation before outlet opening.
d. Responsible for projects to be completed duly within the timeline, budget and requirements.
e. Submit the progress reports to the management.
f. Ensure compliance with all requirements concerning for every project done.
Requirements
- We are open to candidates with limited to no prior experience in the role. It's an entry-level position that welcomes individuals who are new to visual merchandising in the Retail, Fashion or any design-related industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design are also encouraged to apply.
- Eager to learn about and apply marketing and visual merchandising strategies to enhance brand presence and product presentation in stores.
- Proficiency in these software tools is seen as a bonus. They are commonly used in visual merchandising for designing and creating visual displays - Adobe Creative Cloud/ Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp, and VRay.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for visual merchandisers. This helps in creating visually appealing and well-organized product displays.
- Comfortable in fast paced environment.
- Conducting regular store walkthroughs with a senior visual merchandiser to assess and ensure that visual merchandising plans and checklists are implemented as scheduled.
- Monitor inventory levels for homeware products and collaborating with store managers to ensure that the stock is accurate and well-maintained.
