Junior Drafter – Civil Design

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter to join our civil design team, focusing on road and highway projects. In this role, you will assist in creating and modifying technical drawings and plans for various road and highway designs, including alignment plans, cross-sections, drainage systems, and traffic control layouts. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop expertise in the field of transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design: Create and modify detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Technical Support: Assist senior drafters and engineers in the preparation of design documentation, including layout plans, cross-sections, and profiles.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information and incorporate feedback into drafts.
• Documentation: Maintain and organize project files, drawings, and records.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to civil design and drafting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s certificate or diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in drafting or civil design. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of other drafting software such as Revit or Civil 3D is a plus. Hands on in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating documents, managing data, and preparing presentations.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and accurate drawings.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
